Privacy Policy

Effective date: February 1, 2026

Overview

DocPro is a document version-control platform operated by Tyler Brundage (“we,” “us,” “our”), based in the United States. We take your privacy seriously and want to be transparent about what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.

What we collect

We collect only the data necessary to provide the service:

  • Account information: your name, email address, and company name when you create an account.
  • Waitlist signups: your name, email, company name, and use-case description if you join the waitlist before getting an account.
  • Documents: files you upload to DocPro for version control, including their content and metadata (file name, size, upload date).
  • Activity logs: records of actions you take within DocPro (e.g., uploading a document, approving a version) for audit-trail purposes.
  • Authentication data: session tokens and authentication state managed through Supabase Auth.

How we use your data

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the DocPro service.
  • To authenticate you and manage your account.
  • To send transactional emails (account invitations, waitlist updates, password resets).
  • To generate audit trails and activity histories within your workspaces.
  • To respond to support requests.

What we don’t do

  • We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
  • We do not use third-party analytics or tracking tools (no Google Analytics, no ad pixels).
  • We do not use cookies beyond what is required for authentication.
  • We do not share your documents with other users unless you explicitly invite them to your workspace.

Third-party services

We rely on the following third-party services to operate DocPro:

  • Supabase — authentication, PostgreSQL database, and file storage. Your account data and documents are stored in Supabase infrastructure.
  • Vercel — application hosting and serverless functions.
  • Brevo — transactional email delivery (account invitations, waitlist confirmations). Brevo receives only the recipient email address and email content necessary for delivery.

Each of these services has their own privacy policies governing how they handle data.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored in Supabase-managed infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. Access to production databases is restricted to authorized personnel only. We use row-level security policies to ensure users can only access data within their own workspaces.

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data and documents within 30 days. Some data may be retained longer if required for legal compliance or to resolve disputes.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Export your documents and data.
  • Delete your account and associated data.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@docpro.app.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we’ll notify you by email or through the application. Your continued use of DocPro after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
